THE APPRENTICESHIP ROLE
Mechanics or production mechanics help with the construction of machines and are also involved in metal forming.
They machine high-precision parts on a one-off basis or in large runs (screws, nuts, axles, shafts, etc.) and put together all sorts of mechanical elements and equipment, while also ensuring manufacturing and production installations are properly maintained. The precise nature of their work depends on the size of the business where they work and what it specializes in.
